What are Movement is Medicine classes?

Each class is unique, but all classes blend gentle somatic movement and yoga, flowing qigong, and joyful dancing to enliven your senses and ground you in your embodied experience (so you’re not just living from the neck up). Classes end with a relaxing meditation to harmonize your mind and body.

WHY put them all together in the same class?

  • Because you need to mix your movement up! We’ve all been taught that eating the “rainbow,” or a varied diet is optimal for your health… guess what? Movement is no different! Variety is the spice of life, after all ;)

  • These styles of movement are accessible for almost everyone - regardless of your age or physical condition.

  • It opens up new pathways in your brain when you mix it up + try new ways of moving, breathing and exploring somatically.

  • And these are MY favorites ways to feel embodied and alive! I’ve studied, practiced and enjoyed all of these methods for years, and they’ve made a hugely positive impact on my physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

    • An uplifting elixir of deep breathing, grounding yoga, flowing qigong, joyful dancing and relaxing meditation.

  • Replays are sent weekly

    • Catch up on any classes you miss and/or practice at a time that works for you (unlimited access for 6-months).
